Select a Realtor® to guide you through the process. As a buyer, it is important that your interests be represented. See the advantages of Buyer Representation.

Get pre-approved for a loan. [Not just "pre-qualified."] I will recommend a lender who offers first class service and will get you to closing with low closing fees and competitive interest rates. See Buyer Mortgage Pre-Approval.

4)  
Preview homes. Based on your criteria, I will identify appropriate properties for you to visit. I have extensive property knowledge and experience with the active adult lifestyle. 5)  
Choose the right home for you. My goal is to provide comprehensive information and personalized service to help you find the right home, at the right price, in the right community – a home, community, and a lifestyle that exceeds your expectations.

6)   Confirm your loan. When you have made a decision to move forward, confirm the details of the appropriate loan package and appraisal process with your lender.

7)  
Make the offer. I will write an offer that conforms to state and local laws. I will submit your offer and negotiate on your behalf. A home inspection is very important, and it is strongly recommended that this contingency be included in your offer to purchase. See Home Inspections For Buyers.

8)   Get to closing. Prior to closing, you will need to meet with your insurance broker to obtain the necessary and recommended insurance. I will be present with you at settlement to manage the process in your interests.

9)   Move In. Congratulations on owning your dream home. I will be happy to recommend movers and other home services professionals.
